To help protect the water quality of the Cross Valley Aquifer, all homes are installing state-of–the-art wastewater treatment systems. The technologies featured have proven to reduce nitrogen outputs to levels far below the limit allowed by current regulations, as demonstrated through government-sponsored studies in both Oregon and New Zealand. Water quality monitoring includes annual system inspections and telemetric measurement of homeowner systems, including around-the-clock, web-based monitoring with instantaneous alerts, in the unlikely event a problem should develop.
